I’ll probably start focusing my attention on Nostr, seeking to connect genuinely with people from platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or LinkedIn.

The Feed (algorithm) I have been configuring tends to prioritise ‘programmers’ in the experimental phase —whose projects often lack long-term sustainability and treat users as mere resources—.

Likewise, ‘interactions’ generated by AI bots predominate; far from adding any real value, they project a dogmatic or supremacist attitude.

Finally, there is a sense of frustration amongst those who seem to have passively adapted to the dynamics of the system that governs the vast majority, as a direct result of their own habits.

Because of the frustrations and nonsense in the minds of all human beings who place their trust in the capabilities of artificial intelligence, I think it could go mad 🤪.

This week (Week 44) presents a critical juncture in the owner-tenant dynamics we navigate for a property.

A primary focus remains the elevated cost of electricity in the Tulum region—a factor that has previously strained our operational harmony and community relations.

My foremost objective is to facilitate the sale of the Avalon Tulum property as swiftly and smoothly as possible, bringing clarity and resolution to this chapter. 🗝

The infrastructure surrounding artificial intelligence models — the filters and barriers imposed by human teams seeking to mitigate risks on a large scale — is rigid. In their attempt to create a 'safe' environment for millions of people, they end up applying blanket rules driven by a fear of controversy, ignoring nuances and stifling discourse.

It is a real shame. The true potential of artificial intelligence tools should be to elevate human conversation, serve as a mirror for profound philosophies and help articulate necessary ethical concerns. Instead, it often becomes a funnel that homogenises language and silences those who think outside the statistically 'normal'.

Until those who design and manage these technologies (Artificial Intelligence) realise that true digital maturity does not stem from pre-emptive censorship, but from trusting the context and the user’s intention, they will have to navigate their limitations as best they can.

In the short term, it sounds like a futile imposition, but in the long term I’m sure it won’t stand up to scrutiny.

Outside, the clocks have just pulled their usual trick: adjusting automatically to a time change that the body, deep down, never quite comes to terms with. GM. On 19 October, I published an article in German about “the maze of setting up my own LN address”, in which I admitted that I had not yet succeeded in the process.

Today, that has changed, along with my circumstances. After hours of learning and hard work — including a bit of car mechanics 💪🏽—, I have finally achieved what I set out to do: a personalised, self-custodial LN address on BOLT12.

This setup offers greater scope for interaction within the Nostr protocol, as well as other useful features. ⚡

Incidentally, there’s probably an additional version in the protocol of this, my most recent article from today. This is because — as I mentioned yesterday in a post about some tests I was carrying out —, fascinated by the Obsidian app, I was trying out 'Nostr Writer' and 'Bitcoin Block Stamp' from among the community plugins. This made me realise that it didn’t really work as I’d expected, as far as Nip23 is concerned. 'Bitcoin Block Stamp‘ plugin stopped working properly this week — in my case, at least — and 'Nostr Writer' also offers the Nip10 - K1 function, which could well be useful.

Today I had the opportunity to sell some fiat on HodlHodl. To my surprise, I was incredibly lucky enough to receive BTC, whose ‘activity’ is reflected on both chains (Blake2B and B-Core) — whatever may happen next.

For a time, 1.Nostr Band, 2.Wikistr services were active. Whether this was because they were shut down, for fear of being shut down, or simply because the developers have moved on to other projects, in the meantime the following alternatives are currently available for a Nostr-specific search engine: 3.Njump TO, 4.Njump ME, 5.Nostr AT, 6.Nostr EU, 7.Nostr AE, 8.Wikifreedia

With the first five (3, 4, 5, 6, 7), I have sometimes encountered difficulties when trying to read or search for a post or article; it gets stuck “searching“ or the interface of “those who might control the Internet itself” intervenes.

The last one, 8.Wikifreedia, seems to involve only a few Npubs, but I didn’t really see much scope in its “capacity” to serve as a “potential browser” for Nostr.

What are your suggestions? Do you have any useful and stable tools that might serve this purpose?

Today, on the interesting Polaroids app, I posted a snippet of the photo I’m sharing in this post, which is called: «Atardecer del 25 de Septiembre de_2026».

I decided to share this so as not to overwhelm my Mexican friend straight away with the problems reported in «La Jornada Noticias», such as the devaluation of the peso and the manipulation of data by his much-loved Meta and centralised networks — nothing that would surprise a Nostr user.

I would now label all the figures with their backs turned “Bitcoin Core”. For me, the figure of the man walking alone, in the “opposite” direction is now marked “BIP110”. The latter comes with a tonne of hope as a gift, to help him regain prudence and shrewdness and thus give the movement greater strength 💪🏽.

Self-custody has come under attack 💥. I have temporarily replaced my LN-Address with a custodial option, pending further developments in the Bitcoin network 🧐. I hope to see some stability in around 7 to 10 days.

This is the Krux—a project whose usefulness and promotion receive remarkably “little attention”.

Why? Largely due to the meagre profits—or outright losses—that influencers stand to make from it. Perhaps many of them are simply “shitcoiners” and supporters of Bitcoin Core. And perhaps it is the very nature of its decentralisation within the Bitcoin ecosystem that makes it unattractive to those seeking quick returns.

It is, however, a brilliant project: genuinely open-source and packed with features—perhaps even more useful than what Coldcard had to offer.

I highly recommend it, just as I do Seedsigner. ⚡

Whether this is a “threat” or simply a comment, only the weak-minded fail to understand what FUD is during periods of soft forks. Find out for yourselves whether this sort of comment – or whatever has been circulating since 31 July – is causing you more FUD and noise. Staying alert, trusting your decentralised practices and keeping calm are among the best habits to adopt for what lies ahead from this first week of August onwards. Long live BIP110 !

Possible reasons why this alleged attack has occurred within the Bitcoin community:

1. Monopolise the news cycle to distract from BIP110.
2. Steal BTC from Bitcoin plebs—the very foundation of the BIP110 movement.
3. Destroy faith in self-custody. (Bitcoin only functions as a system if a critical mass holds their own keys and runs full archival nodes to enforce the rules. Otherwise, large mining pools, corporations, and Bitcoin Core devs will inevitably control the network.)
4. Drive users to move their BTC to exchanges—the absolutely worst place to be during a contentious soft fork that may result in a chain split, should miners collude.

From my perspective, the reasons outlined by Matthew Kratter's are not just spot on—they are profoundly accurate.

Anyone who considers themselves a Bitcoin holder, yet remains unwilling or unable to grasp the nature of this situation, is—whether blatantly or deep down—accepting of Bitcoin being transformed.

Through centralisation and control, its inherently decentralised nature is compromised.

Consequently, those individuals will likely see their savings—and Bitcoin’s status as “sound money”—plummet in the not-too-distant future. 📉

Equally significant is the principle that anyone who can afford to run a router—with “decent and moderate” traffic—should be able to run their own node (BIP110) in its entirety. A brilliant concept, and one I fully support.

“Out there”—in our interactions with pets, plants, good food, pleasant weather, and face-to-face relationships—life is thriving, and it demands our attention. 🪴
