Allen again with a banger - as usual! eCash is inevitable - thankfully! Hal Finney was a true visionary. He predicted eCash a week or so after Bitcoin was released by Satoshi. He knew. Hal knew. Allen just sets out the path for us.
Absolutely.

At Bitcoin Park this morning. I paid for my coffee using Primal's built-in wallet. So cool. Instant. Easy.
Elon talks about building "money" into X. Primal has already done it.
The future is now. Let's go!!!

"Bitcoin" (capital B) refers to the network.
The asset is "bitcoin."
Perhaps Bitcoin the "protocol" should bear the name "VTP" as in "value transfer protocol."
TCP/IP FTP SMTP HTTP etc.
Magic Internet Freedom Money.

@CK Snarks is now making the magic happen!

I was “born” into Bitcoin on block #527,635. I was able to verify that thanks to the good folks behind #TimeChainCalendar. Thanks guys!!

Coincidence? Thoughtfulness?
Satoshi decided that blocks should be added to the timechain every ~10 minutes. That’s 144 blocks per 24 hour day. After 14 days, on average, 2016 blocks are added to the global timechain.
After each addition of 2016 blocks, Bitcoin’s famous “difficulty adjustment” occurs. This important adjustment ensures that no government, no corporation, no cabal of Bitcoin miners can steal everyone’s value by suddenly adding massive hashpower to the network, minting huge numbers of blocks, and effectively stealing value from all the other users of the network.
By contrast, FDR’s executive order 6102 stole gold from American holders of gold.
One of those is backwards. The other honest, truthful, and forwards.
Interesting.

Legitimate question to ask your child: why hasn't the world adopted Parker Bros.' Monopoly money as a currency? (Obvious answer: b/c PB can print an infinite supply.)
Once your child sees that, now do fiat.

Huzzah!
What is your favorite money from history? Salt? Cows? Rai stones?
Every single form of money ever known can be, or could have been, represented on a ledger.
Bookkeepers, accountants, and bankers could have (and sometimes did) count each unit of money in a society & ledgerize $.

Proof of Work & Decentralization of authority. These two things will usher in a new “Golden Age” of humanity.
Or should we say “Bitcoin Age”? Hmmm?
We already new we had entered the “Digital Age” in the 1990s. Who would have foreseen that as the tech matures, it would fundamentally alter how humans build societies & communities? Who could have known that it would topple governments and remove power from oppressors?
Separation of money & state. Property rights. Free speech.
A new day is dawning.
