✍️ China has requested the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to deploy nearly 200,000 satellites to challenge the dominance of the low-Earth orbit and block the growth of the Starlink network.
👉 China has requested the ITU to deploy nearly 200,000 satellites 👉 The move is seen as a strategic attempt to reserve positions in the space 👉 The plan involves two megaconstellations, CTC-1 and CTC-2 👉 The constellations would consist of 96,714 devices distributed in 3,660 trajectories around the planet 👉 This initiative would be the largest satellite system in the history of space exploration if implemented
