✍️ An 80-year-old woman, Suzanne Rees, died alone on Lizard Island in the Great Barrier Reef after her luxury cruise ship, the Coral Adventurer, left without her.
👉 The Coral Adventurer left Lizard Island without conducting a passenger count 👉 Suzanne Rees was last seen near the walking trail and did not make it back to the ship 👉 The ship's crew did not alert authorities until five hours after leaving the island 👉 The investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances of Rees' death and whether there was a failure of care
