👉 Columbia Basin College is planning to build a new $28 million residential building, Polaris, to accommodate the growing student population. 👉 The building will have 162 student housing units, each with bedrooms, bathrooms, full-size kitchen spaces, and living areas. 👉 The building will have various amenities, including study rooms, a lounge area, a multi-purpose space, onsite laundry facilities, and a secure bike storage. 👉 The college has identified the need for more student housing due to the growing population in Pasco and the Tri-Cities region. 👉 The building is expected to start construction in May and will be completed by fall 2026.
