✍️ The futuristic city of NEOM in Saudi Arabia is facing significant cost overruns and engineering failures, with the project's original vision unlikely to be completed.
👉 Cost overruns have eaten up $50 billion and produced little more than a forlorn construction site. 👉 The project's original design was too ambitious and unrealistic. 👉 The lack of steel and cement production is a major obstacle to completing the project. 👉 The project's management is looking for ways to 'gently' tell Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that the project will not be completed as planned.
