✍️ Queensland's acting police commissioner says domestic violence case management is not the "core business" of policing and other agencies should take on greater roles in this.
👉 Queensland police service has been tasked with non-core functions such as mental health response, domestic and family violence case management, and prisoner transport 👉 Police are not trained to handle these issues and should focus on core policing duties 👉 Other agencies such as child safety and health departments should take on greater roles in addressing societal issues
