✍️ The documentary series 'Marines' on Netflix follows the training of the 31st Expeditionary Unit of the US Marine Corps in the Pacific, but fails to deliver an engaging and in-depth look at the institution.
👉 Follows the training of the 31st Expeditionary Unit of the US Marine Corps in the Pacific 👉 Realistic training exercises and operational scenes 👉 Superficial personal stories and narrative arcs 👉 Lacks analysis and depth 👉 Interviews with Marines and their families are often shallow
