✍️ One year after the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump, questions remain unanswered about the motivations of the attacker, Thomas Matthew Crooks, and how he was able to get so close to the president.
👉 The FBI has not identified a definitive ideological or political motivation for the attack 👉 Crooks' motivation may have been a complex interplay of personal grievances, mental health issues, and a desire for notoriety 👉 The FBI relied on digital footprints and personal interviews to establish motive 👉 The security breakdown that allowed Crooks to get so close to the president was catastrophic 👉 The Secret Service needs to improve communication and technology to prevent similar incidents in the future
