✍️ Thousands of runners participated in the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, the first since the death of rugby league star Rob Burrow, to raise money for motor neurone disease (MND).
👉 The marathon was held in memory of Rob Burrow, who died last June aged 41 after being diagnosed with MND in 2019 👉 The event raised money for the MND Association 👉 Participants included Rob Burrow's wife Lindsey and best friend Kevin Sinfield 👉 Paul Green ran his first half marathon in memory of his wife who died from MND in 2017 👉 Rob Tiffney was on day 406 of a 500-day challenge to run 5,000 miles and raise £35,000 for the MND Association
