✍️ The Southern Section is set to release its baseball playoff pairings on May 12, featuring a 32-team bracket with power rankings determining team placement.
👉 The Southern Section is using power rankings for the first time to determine team placement in the playoffs. 👉 Corona is the favorite with a 25-2 record and top pitcher Seth Hernandez. 👉 St. John Bosco, Crespi, and Huntington Beach are also strong contenders. 👉 The playoffs will feature a series of one-game matchups, making it difficult for any team to win the championship.
