👉 Archaeologists uncovered evidence of continuous human settlement in Hamedan dating back to the Achaemenid period. 👉 The excavation discovered architectural remains dating back to the Islamic Middle Ages, including a residential building with a water supply system. 👉 Artifacts from the Ilkhanid period were also found, featuring a building constructed from river stones and slabs. 👉 The site has suffered damage from rainfall and improper use as a waste disposal site, and the project has stalled. 👉 The team plans to complete the open-air museum project by the end of summer 2025, pending preservation of the site.
