✍️ A glitch in the IRS's portal for electric vehicle (EV) tax credits has been causing issues for some buyers, but a new alert offers hope for a fix.
👉 The IRS has reopened its portal for dealers to submit time of sale reports for EVs sold last year. 👉 Buyers who were unable to claim their EV tax credits due to a glitch may be able to do so now. 👉 The glitch caused some buyers to experience issues when trying to claim the credit when filing their 2024 federal income tax returns. 👉 The IRS is allowing time of sale reports to be submitted for qualifying clean vehicle credit transactions that occurred in 2024.
