✍️ Melchizedek, a minor Bible character, has significant influence due to his connection to Jesus' priestly role and the better covenant.
👉 Melchizedek is a king and priest of God Most High 👉 He appears in Genesis 14:17-20 and Psalm 110:4 👉 He is described as 'King of Righteousness' 👉 He existed before Abram's arrival in the promised land 👉 His name is mentioned again in Hebrews, where it is used to describe Jesus' priestly role 👉 Jesus' priesthood is eternal and of infinite value, compared to the Levitical priesthood, which was temporal and of finite value
