THE SWITCH 2 MAY SIGNAL THE END OF PHYSICAL GAMES

https://media.wired.com/photos/68361d97ab514fd2c69807da/master/pass/Nintendo-Game-Key-Card-Gear.jpg

✍️ Nintendo's Switch 2 console will feature game-key cards, which are physical licenses to access digital games, rather than containing the game data itself. This move has both pros and cons, including improved storage efficiency and versatility, but also raises concerns about longevity and game preservation.
