👉 BAT has been accused of hypocrisy for lobbying against tobacco control measures in Africa that are already in place in the UK. 👉 The company's subsidiary in Zambia has sent a letter to the country's government ministers asking to abandon or delay plans to ban tobacco advertising and sponsorship. 👉 The letter also seeks changes to a draft bill, including reductions in graphic health warnings on cigarette packaging and removal of restrictions on flavoured tobacco products.
