✍️ Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has expanded the list of settlements eligible for private firearms permits, adding 5 new cities and towns, bringing the total number of permit holders to around 100,000.
👉 The list of settlements eligible for private firearms permits has been expanded to include 5 new cities and towns. 👉 The decision aims to allow law-abiding citizens to defend themselves and their communities. 👉 The reform has led to the issuance of over 230,000 new permits since its introduction. 👉 The expansion of the list is seen as a response to a corruption scandal involving officials who issued permits to unauthorized individuals in exchange for bribes.
