✍️ US Attorney Jeanine Pirro was reprimanded by a judge for trying to circumvent a grand jury's refusal to indict a defendant by presenting the case to a local DC grand jury instead.
👉 Pirro's attempt to present the case to a local DC grand jury was deemed 'unseemly' and 'unlawful' by Judge Faruqui. 👉 The judge ordered prosecutors to prove how this was allowed in his courtroom. 👉 This is not the first time a grand jury has refused to indict a defendant, and Pirro's actions have been criticized as an attempt to undermine the grand jury process.
