✍️ Texas Governor Greg Abbott's spokesman expects trucking companies in Texas to fully comply with President Trump's executive order requiring English proficiency for commercial drivers.
👉 President Trump's executive order requires truck drivers with commercial licenses to be proficient in speaking and reading English. 👉 Texas will not enforce this requirement for truck drivers who only operate within the state's borders. 👉 Recent fatal crashes involving foreign commercial driver's license holders have highlighted the issue of English proficiency among truck drivers.
