✍️ The Trump administration has proposed eliminating Head Start, a pre-kindergarten program for low-income children, citing its alleged lack of long-term academic value and concerns over safety incidents.
👉 Head Start is a pre-kindergarten program for low-income children 👉 The program has been eliminated entirely in the proposed budget draft 👉 The administration claims the program has 'little or no long-term academic value for children' 👉 The program has been extensively studied and found to have numerous benefits 👉 The elimination of Head Start will likely cause financial catastrophe, lost productivity, and wages
