👉 Emma's mother, Amanda, noticed her daughter's visual impairment during a video recording of her first birthday celebration. 👉 Emma didn't reach typical developmental milestones, such as sitting or crawling. 👉 After months of doctor's visits, Emma was diagnosed with atrofia del nervio óptico, a rare genetic disorder, KIF1A. 👉 The disorder caused Emma's vision to deteriorate over time, starting from birth. 👉 Emma receives daily therapy sessions, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and visual stimulation.
