✍️ A Russian zoologist, Nikolai Viktorovich Nasonov, discovered the miniature rams in 1906, and they are known as one of the smallest and rarest wild sheep in Iran and the world.
👉 Miniature rams are found in south of Iran, particularly in Larestan. 👉 They are known for their small size, weighing between 35-40 kg for males and 25-30 kg for females. 👉 They are accustomed to water shortage and have a lifespan of 10-12 years. 👉 The hunting license for these rams is expensive due to their rarity. 👉 The site is protected to ensure their habitat is not damaged.
