✍️ A coroner has called for improved evidence preservation after an inquest jury concluded it was impossible to determine the cause of a fatal explosion at a Swansea house.
👉 The explosion occurred at a rented property on Clydach Road in Morriston, Swansea, in 2023 👉 The force of the blast was so severe that the house had completely 'disappeared' when rescuers arrived 👉 An inquest jury concluded that it was not possible to determine the cause of the explosion due to a lack of preserved material evidence 👉 The coroner has called for a memorandum of understanding to be drafted on how to preserve evidence for future investigations, while not compromising rescue efforts
