✍️ The Governor of Ilam Province, Ahmad Kermi, discussed the province's development plans, including the expansion of its transportation infrastructure and the development of its agricultural sector.
👉 The province has a total area of 20,133 km² and a population of 1.2% of the country's total population. 👉 The province has 3,515 km of roads, with 180 km of which have been four-lane and 190 km of which are under construction. 👉 The Khorramabad tunnel is a major project that will connect the province to the national railway network and will have a significant impact on the province's economy. 👉 The province has 15 permanent rivers, which provide a good condition for agriculture and will increase the province's agricultural production by 90,000 tons. 👉 The province has plans to increase its agricultural production and create job opportunities, with the potential to create 6-7,000 jobs. 👉 The province has plans to develop its transportation infrastructure, including the expansion of its roads and the development of its railway network.
