👉 Silvia Vázquez was a victim of human trafficking from the age of 11 to 22 👉 She met Pope Francis, then Bishop Robert Prevost, who was working to combat human trafficking in Chiclayo, Peru 👉 She joined the Comisión de Movilidad Humana y Trata de Personas, an organization founded by Prevost, to help victims of human trafficking 👉 The organization provides support and services to victims, including counseling, job training, and housing 👉 Vázquez credits the organization with helping her to escape her trafficker and rebuild her life 👉 Over 30 women have abandoned the sex trade since the organization's work began 👉 The organization continues to work to combat human trafficking in Chiclayo, Peru
