✍️ Jacob deGrom, a two-time Cy Young winner, is returning to Citi Field as the starting pitcher for the visiting team for the first time in his career, and his Hall of Fame case is being re-examined.
👉 DeGrom is returning to Citi Field as the starting pitcher for the visiting team for the first time in his career 👉 He has a 2.55 ERA and 2.20 ERA+ since 2018 👉 Despite injuries, deGrom is still building a Hall of Fame case 👉 His counting stats are light compared to current Hall of Famers 👉 The standards for starting pitchers need to be loosened 👉 DeGrom's rate stats are comparable to those of Hall of Famers like Koufax and Santana
