✍️ A man living with kidney failure was rejected for personal independence payments (Pip) twice, despite being on dialysis and having had three heart attacks.
👉 Tony Henderson, 55, has been living with kidney failure for over 20 years 👉 He has had to undergo dialysis for four hours a day, six days a week 👉 He was rejected for Pip twice, citing a 'tick-box system' that is not targeting the right people 👉 Henderson's wife, Sarah, is frustrated with the system and feels that there is not enough awareness of kidney failure 👉 The couple is appealing the decision and hopes to be involved in the review of Pip assessments
