✍️ The new director of Rome's Colosseum, Simone Quilici, aims to bring concerts and cultural events to the ancient amphitheater, but with a focus on preserving its cultural heritage and respecting its sacred space.
👉 Concerts will feature acoustic or jazz music, poetry readings, and theater productions 👉 The Colosseum will not host electronic dance music parties 👉 Quilici wants to create a more immersive experience for visitors by connecting the Colosseum to other nearby archaeological sites 👉 New access points and connections between sites will be created 👉 Traffic will be limited to restore life to the heart of Rome
