✍️ Researchers have discovered major security flaws in Tile tags that could allow the company and malicious actors to track users' locations, and even frame them for stalking.
👉 Tile tags transmit static MAC address and unique ID unencrypted 👉 Anyone with a radio frequency scanner can intercept this information 👉 Tile's rotating ID generation is not secure, making it possible to predict future codes 👉 This creates a risk of systemic surveillance and allows for framing of users as stalkers
