✍️ Four months after the first documentation of King George Street in Tel Aviv, the area has undergone significant changes. While the city's vision for a pedestrian-friendly street with bike lanes and public spaces has been partially achieved, the reality on the ground is more complex.
👉 The southern part of the street has seen significant progress, with widened sidewalks and completed bike lanes. 👉 The northern part of the street is still under construction, with workers, trucks, and noise pollution making it difficult for businesses and residents to operate. 👉 The lack of public transportation options is a major issue, with only one bus line serving the area. 👉 Residents and business owners are frustrated with the lack of progress and the disparity between the two parts of the street.
