✍️ BBC Sport's Newcastle United reporter Ciaran Kelly discusses contract clauses and expiry dates, including the possibility of re-signing Elliot Anderson and the plans for older players out of contract.
👉 There is no buy-back clause in Elliot Anderson's contract 👉 Newcastle United had to sell Anderson to Nottingham Forest due to financial difficulties 👉 The club will take each contract situation on a case-by-case basis 👉 Keeping hold of Pope, Schar, and Trippier feels like a no-brainer at the moment 👉 The 2027 situations do not feel as urgent as the current contract situations
