I still think of this...

Actually no, restart it with offline flag, so it can correctly recover channel closes.

Segmentation fault is just a social construct.

Mood: Listening to bardcore version of Eminem and explaining to my 2 yr that this is Sir Slim Shady. 🎶

This looks interesting. Since new generation phones look and work exactly like the previous generation phones, I think this gives an edge to more niche manufacturers like this.

Making some serious sats on SN

"I will find you" show on Netflix was good! Enjoyed it! 🙂

Now imagine nvk's angel-twin: kvn!

kvn built a fully open-source hardware wallet and has always been a big team player in the community, humble, supportive of other projects and people, and helping wherever possible. The wallet uses state-of-the-art libraries, and kvn's team always upstreams any changes. Now imagine that, even with all this, there happens to be a fatal flaw in the random number generator. Immediately upon being notified, kvn replies, "That sounds very critical, we don't take any reports like this lightly. We are on it. All hands on deck."

Within minutes of confirmation, kvn removes all ways to download the flawed firmware from their website, updates the website immediately with warnings. These warnings point to a single document that is being updated live with details: honest, plain, and clear sentences, with no BS. kvn pauses all sales and cancels deliveries in flight. kvn immediately posts warnings on socials, requesting that the community reach out to all users as fast as possible, and helps establish a massive community effort to do so. kvn works with the community to rapidly build source of truth guides to resolve various situations. kvn personally saves many people who's bitcoin was close to be stolen. Within hours, kvn issues a statement: "I am deeply sorry to every one of you. I failed you, I am responsible, and I will work day and night to make this as right as possible, even though the chances may be slim."

kvn immediately leaves the board of OpenSats and any similar involvements. kvn encourages a new red team operation to immediately try catching similar vulnerabilities in Bitcoin software and personally pays for the tokens. kvn invites the community to collaborate on a protocol to validate the rightful owners of the sats in the event that the stolen Bitcoin is retrieved using legal means. kvn creates a fund where he puts large sum of his money to attempt to return at least some portion of bitcoin to the users whose sats were stolen.

DTails is great! Check it out if you haven't.

And of course OCEAN just mined block on NON-BIP110! Max entertainment :)

Oh it's getting entertaining. There's bip110 block now.

I'm watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3X6viAOBhU as I expect it to start getting salty quite soon...

Is anyone still watching Futurama? I haven't seen the recent seasons.

Good morning #coffee

Also very sorry for folks losing sats on this. Unfortunately this can happen to other wallets too. The next months are going to be dangerous like this.

SN has a good coverage of the coldcard situation.

I asked barista "hey, how are you doing, I would like iced matcha latte to go for nout". And she asked "do you want it to go?", I say yes as she puts the ceramic cup back and gets paper cup. Then she asks "what was it again iced?" I say "matcha latte, thank you" and as I'm leaving she asks "I'm sorry what was the name?"

I think the right response is actually something like - dude, I need help with the wall against the waves and make a channel that redirects the water to the side.

Yay for digging an epic hole in the sand. It's the small things...

If you are on a beach and another adult man compliments the hole that you've built, what is the proper response? 🤔

Oh... this send me down the rabbit hole of long long bardcore playlists 🎵🎶

Hear ye, if thou had one chance, one grand crusade, To claim all honor in a fleeting parade, Wouldst thou take it, or let it swiftly fade?

Wow, the new Amethyst is much more configurable than before. I can have a feed of combined replies+new. In the bottom bar I can have a wallet in the middle and tab for seeing new articles next to it. Cool 😎 (Adding images still sucks, but who am I to complain...) https://blossom.primal.net/5e25babe89eff42f4d34655ba715690c998c3983c509a5d4a9a027dda88f482a.jpg

It's also funny how people are getting down zapped on SN. That's something nostr doesn't have.

Not bad... https://blossom.primal.net/615973d9ede85fb68c3ead21fc9cf1d13a16d668ca580bc1ea98f9aaa82fb29d.jpg

is there a way to pull onto nostr the feed from https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:kayvlhfczhjuq7pvetonoq3m/feed/aaab5zv6mx666 ? That would be very cool 😎
