☕️ 52nd Bitcoin Coffee Hangout! ⚡️

52 hangouts. Countless conversations. One growing community.

For our 52nd edition, we went back to the beginning.

What is Bitcoin? Why was it created? What happened before Bitcoin that made its creation necessary? And what was the trigger that led Satoshi Nakamoto to introduce a new kind of money to the world?

We explored the history, the events, and the ideas that set the stage for Bitcoin — not just as technology, but as a response to problems that existed long before 2009.

Sometimes, to understand where we are going, we have to go back to where it all began.

52 Coffee Hangouts later, we're still learning, questioning, and building. 🧡⚡️

☕ 48th Coffee Hangout!

We explored the History of Money, tracing how money evolved and why each form emerged, all the way to where we are today.

This session was led by @KalukiTiiime from @Bitsawa100 , using Module 2 of the @MyFirstBitcoin_ Bitcoin Diploma curriculum.

We had fun, asked questions, shared ideas, and learned together. Another great evening of making Bitcoin education practical and relatable. 🧡🧡

Day 1 at @btcnairobi_conf was a beautiful show of how a circular Bitcoin economy can look like.....

From the moment the conference opened, our community wasn't just attending, we were participating.

Shakillah prepared and sold her homemade snacks for sats, giving attendees a chance to support a local entrepreneur while experiencing a real Bitcoin transaction.

We also proudly showcased one of our @Bitbiasharakids chess talents who is preparing for county competition demonstrating the confidence, discipline, and focus that our young people continue to develop beyond Bitcoin education.

And perhaps the biggest highlight was watching our @Bitbiasharakids light up the stage with their gymnastics performances. What began as a safe space to keep children off the streets has grown into a platform where they can entertain, inspire, and be seen by a global Bitcoin audience.

This is what Bitbiashara is about.

A community where Bitcoin creates opportunities, not just for merchants, but for children, parents, creators, and everyday families.

One conference. Countless Proofs of Work.

We're excited for Day 2. 🚀⚡ #BitcoinNairobi #Bitbiashara #BitbiasharaNextGen #CircularEconomy #ProofOfWork #BitcoinKenya

Yesterday’s vibe? 🔥

We explored the Fedi App and one feature had the whole Bitbiashara room talking, Multispend inside group chats 💬⚡

Imagine this:

A community saving together. Spending together. Growing together. Real empowerment.

Now imagine doing all that in sats 👀

We’re ready. Like… ready ready.

Ready as in today...now!

We honestly needed this in our community

A tool to work on our dreams.

@fedi — multispend + sats = game changer for communities like ours 🚀

Happy new year again! Yesterday we held our usual Friday coffee hangout. Our agenda was: Yes, we have Bitcoin. Yes, we know what it is. Yes, we can use it. But is that all we can do with it?

Together, we created a community savings plan with @Machankura8333 guided by @NoelyneNwosu. She was incredibly helpful in answering our questions and providing clarity where needed. Now we are good to go.

This is truly a year of leveling up! #Bitbiashara #Bitcoin #BitcoinForBusiness #whatisbitcoin #bitcoineducation

Bitcoin may take a while to understand and master, but once done, it is the easiest yo use on lightning to pay for goods and services #bitcoin #Bitbiashara

When we first spoke about Bitcoin in our community, the big question was: “How many people actually have Bitcoin?” Truth is you can’t know. That’s the beauty of it. So take the leap. Adopt it. Your customers will follow.
