modulo

Ever wanted to play with QR codes in a spreadsheet and not download anything or send your data to the internet? Now you can.

I added an #excel #spreadsheet to do a version 15 QR code generation, all error correction levels. (77x77 pixels)

Everything is done inside the spreadsheet and totally transparent—data arrangement, error correction calculations, everything.

No add-ins, no macros, no array formulas. The spreadsheet doesn’t send your data anywhere.

Have fun with it, break it, let me know if you do. My next mod to the spreadsheet is to have it produce all QR code versions; the basics are already in the spreadsheet so hopefully it isn’t too much more work.

Just throwing this out there

#nostr #bitcoin #spreadsheetstr

Finished a new #spreadsheet for #Bitcoin, it displays all of the options for your 12th or 24th word given you decide to randomly choose the first 11 or 23

Not just one word option but all check digit word options. In a 12 word seed phrase there are 128 possible 12th words, and in a 24 word seed phrase there are only eight

As always, no macros or array formulas or internet connections

I’ll put it on the modulo.network spreadsheets webpage soon

Working on upgrading the #modulo website with its private key and excel spreadsheets

Getting pressure to accept something more nasty-paper-like than #bitcoin

Love to hear some feedback/constructive criticism about the site

A new spreadsheet dropped

I added a new #excel spreadsheet to the website— #bitcoin ‘s ECDSA secp256k1 but this time using binary numbers…got it down to a slim 49MB (yes that’s a lot less than the decimal version,) and much faster calculation of hexadecimal public keys. Like before, no macros, no array formulas

Fun and transparent to use and learn

I hope you enjoy it

I am pondering the next #bitcoine #spreadsheet for my website https://modulo.network and trying to decide what might be most interesting to create:

A) A binary version of the ECDSA secp256k1 public key spreadsheet (it might make it slightly smaller than its current version—it is already underway but I’ve run short of time recently)?

B) A spreadsheet to manage UTXO and sign said UTXO for publishing to the mempool, like a spreadsheet wallet?

C) A spreadsheet to show how taproot signatures work?

A is the only one I know is possible, and B requires HMAC development and a demonstration how ECDSA signing works, as well as some other work. I have no idea how long taproot will take…

Any suggestions for the above or requests for other #bitcoin #Excel spreadsheets?
