Paloma

Today we celebrate you!, my man ✨ From the first day we crossed paths, you’ve inspired me to be a better woman. Thank you for everything you do for us, for our family, for this life we’re building together.

Look at us now: Mom & Dad. 💙

✨ They say a baby’s soul chooses its parents, the body it wants to come through, and even the month it wants to be conceived…

My son chose us.

He chose us in a moment of pure love and surrender, in a moment so natural we didn’t plan it… but his soul did.

From that instant, everything changed.

Life moved through us, and we began to carry him first in our hearts, and then in my body. 🌿

Current mood: writing poems to my son.!

Hearty Beef & Chicken Soup for my love’s homecoming 🫶🍲

It’s officially winter ❄️ here in southern Brazil and… There’s something timeless about putting bones, meat, veggies, and care into one big pot. This one fed our souls (and filled the kitchen with the most amazing smell 😍).

Here’s how I made it, step by step 👇🏽

🥩 Ingredients:

2 chicken thighs (skin-on, bone-in) 2 pieces of ossobuco 1 beef marrow bone Carrots, onions, garlic Corn (I add it halfway through) A jar of my blended veggie base Salt, pepper, bay leaves, paprika, herbs (optional)

🍲 Steps:

1️⃣ Sear the meat in tallow or ghee until browned, then set aside 2️⃣ Sauté onions, carrots, garlic in the same pot 3️⃣ Add meat back in, pour in cold water to cover 4️⃣ Bring to a boil uncovered, then skim the foam 5️⃣ Add salt, bay leaf, pepper, paprika & your veggie base 6️⃣ Lower heat, partially cover and simmer for 2–3 hours 7️⃣ Add corn halfway through for the perfect bite 🌽 8️⃣ Taste, adjust seasoning, and enjoy with someone you love ❤️

✨ Nourishing, warming, and so easy to make in a big batch!

P.S: it was so easy & fun to post this from

🧡

GM Nostr 🌄 is pretty early where I am…

As you may have noticed, I disappeared from here for over five months, until last week when I shared my pregnancy announcement. Part of that absence is because I’ve been doing the hardest and most beautiful work of all: growing a life inside me. 🐣

The other part is that I’m very committed to my yearly digital detox. During this detox, I didn’t just delete centralized social media apps, I also removed all Nostr clients. I won’t even go into how much REAL freedom I feel when I’m completely disconnected from all of this.

But every detox I’ve done over the years makes it even harder to come back — because I truly live better without the mindless scrolling that feeds the morbid mind. My real life is 100% better than anything I find online …

P.S: I’m partly back now because I can post through my husband’s app

It is with immense joy that I announce our family is growing, our firstborn is arriving very soon

Something sacred is unfolding inside me... The kind of miracle words can’t quite hold. With a full heart and a protected spirit, I’m stepping into motherhood 🤍 Grateful to be chosen as the first home for this great soul.

In a world full of fakeness, I’ve always been captivated by Pac’s “Never Had a Friend Like Me”

Since hearing it as a kid in the late ‘90s, I even translated the lyrics to understand them better. The song’s raw loyalty, defiance, and ‘ride or die’ mentality struck me deeply 🕳️ it’s a rare tribute to true, unconditional friendship.

Not your average spread… this one’s got liver in it: literally the MVP of nutrient-dense foods 😏

If you think it’s “ew,” let me remind you this bad boy is PACKED with:

💪 Iron for energy 🧠 Vitamin A for sharp vision and brain power 🛡️ Copper + zinc for immunity ✨ B vitamins to keep you thriving

The secret to making it delicious? Butter, olive oil, caramelized onions, garlic honey and a whole lot of fresh herbs to bring it all together 😌

If you’re not into liver, try it this way with some homemade focaccia, you might just join the pâté fan club.

Who’s with me? 👯‍♀️

Postcards from #Bariloche, Patagonia 🇦🇷

Our last trip of 2024 was the sweetest escape! We completely disconnected from the digital world and had the most amazing time: hikes, steak, skinny dips in the lakes, provoletas, sunbathing, stunning landscapes, empanadas, chocolate, laughter, and so many good moments. Just what we needed 🥹

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I always rave about the Italian Alps 🇮🇹 (Dolomites) one of my favorite places in the world. And I have been blessed enough to go there many times during the last few years… We thought Patagonia might remind us of it, and in some ways, it did. But I’d say it’s more like the “Latino Alps” 🤭. While nothing compares to the Dolomites, Patagonia has its own unique beauty and charm.

This trip truly felt like the end of a cycle and the start of a new one for us 🥰.

FULLY HOMEMADE BRISKET FOCACCIA SANDWICH 🥩🥪✨

Hello again #Nostr… [Well, I’m back from my mandatory holiday digital break 🤭]

And if you are new here:

When I say homemade, I mean homemade-homemade 🏡!!!!

Yesterday, I slow-cooked a juicy brisket (8 hours, baby), and today, it all came together in this glorious sandwich:

🥖 Homemade focaccia that’s fluffy and golden

💥My tangy, gut-loving homemade red sauerkraut

🐮 Tender, melt-in-your-mouth brisket (Pecho de Vaca)

🥚Homemade Egg+Ghee Mayo

🧀 Aged mozzarella + pickles for that extra kick (bought 🛒)

The result? A sandwich so good it might just make you rethink ever ordering takeout again. Who needs fast food when you can make THIS at home? 😏

Husband’s Book #2 is officially OUT!!! 📕

I might do the Spanish translation, just like I did for the first one. It’s an amazing read that dives into ancient culture and explores aspects surrounding Bitcoin that no other book has covered to date… the kind of stuff I’m actually interested in!

👏

If you been following me for a while you know that I love to make slow cooked meat often … and that Ossobuco is my comfort food, and a tasty dish that has been a part of my cooking repertoire for over a decade! 🕰️

My Ossobuco a la Moma starts with a flavorful marinate that sets the stage for tender, fall-off-the-bone veal.

It’s a dish that holds so many memories and is always a crowd favorite when I make it. I’ve perfected this recipe over the years, and it’s my go-to for special moments at home.

I really love cooking and eating Slow cooked Meat 🤤

One day, I dream of having my own beehive on my farm…

I make my Honey Garlic regularly at home 🧄🍯🫙 it’s like my pesto: there’s always a jar in the fridge!

I started making my own Garlic Honey last year because I see it as a #WiseTradition worth passing on.

It’s simple to make and packed with benefits.

How to Make Honey Garlic:

Combine raw honey and peeled garlic cloves in a jar, ensuring the garlic is fully covered. Seal the jar loosely and let it ferment at room temperature for 1-2 weeks, stirring occasionally. Over time, the garlic infuses into the honey, creating a tangy, immune-boosting syrup.

Benefits: 🍯 Boosts immunity with honey’s antioxidants and garlic’s antibacterial properties.

🍯 Soothes sore throats and eases coughs naturally.

🍯 Supports digestion by balancing gut bacteria.

🍯 Promotes heart health by lowering blood pressure and improving cholesterol.

🍯 Reduces inflammation and aids in healing.

Have you ever made this at home?? Let me know your thoughts!

When it comes to oven-roasted chicken, it honestly couldn’t be easier!

This is my version of chicken & rice because in a past life, I was probably a fried chicken restaurant owner lol. But, chicken in this house is ONLY fried or baked in beef tallow or pork fat 🐷🐮.

Instructions:

🐓 Marinate the chicken the night before with every herb you’ve got—seriously, the more, the better. And please don’t even think about removing the skin! That’s where the nutrients and all the flavor magic happen.

🐓In the meantime start cooking the Persian basmati rice in bone broth on low heat, add extra virgin olive oil, turmeric and Zafron.

🐓Before baking, rub a generous amount of beef tallow on each thigh. This step makes the chicken super juicy and gives it a boost of healthy fats.

🐓Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes, then crank up the heat or use the grill for the last 10–15 minutes to get that skin crispy perfection.

🐓 Add the rice with some cranberry and place the Chicken on top so the rice absorbs all the chicken fat too.

You’re about to taste something unreal 👅🥹

I’m all about organs, especially chicken hearts! Getting in organs 2–3 times a week is key for me. Here in Brazil is very traditional but I created my very own recipe … 😌

They’re packed with iron, B vitamins, and loads of nutrients you just won’t get from muscle meat alone.

Plus, they’re surprisingly delicious when cooked right! Anyone else an organ lover? 🫀🍽️

We’re sooo back!!! Back home and back to my weekly rituals.

Today, I wanted to make a different broth—mixed beef bones, chicken feet, and oxtail. That’s what feeling at home tastes like!

What kind of rituals do you have? Do you enjoy being home or traveling more?

Difficult day in #Floripa today 🌞

Cc.

Last Night in #SaoPaulo 🇧🇷Celebrating an all-time high with the right company 🌞🚀🥰

Bitcoin always seems to pump a few days before my birthday!

I’ve been hodling since early 2021, and I’ve noticed this trend every year. Guess I must be one of Bitcoin favorites 😉

But my intuition says things are about to get wild! 🙏🏽🚀

LFG

As I was leaving the airport in Buenos Aires, a guy approached me and asked if I was the girl from the Bad Bunny and Residente video.

It’s funny how people in Latin American countries always recognize me… yet in my two years living in Brazil, no one has ever asked me about it! 😅

When the world feels upside down… maybe it’s time to see things from a new perspective 🙃

Over these past weeks in Argentina, so many people have asked me about the price differences between Florianópolis and Buenos Aires. Today, I went to a homeopathic pharmacy to get something recommended by my acupuncturist. I picked it up here, but I also checked the price with my homeopathic pharmacy in Florianópolis, and the difference is wild!

Here in Argentina, I paid 10,800 Argentine pesos, which is about USD 10.88.

In Brazil, it would have been R$ 22.50, or about USD 3.84.

Wild 🤭 🇦🇷🇧🇷

My bestie

is organizing a beautiful event for underprivileged kids next month. She runs a Nonprofit Organization & has been working with orphanages in Costa Rica for years, and her dedication is truly inspiring. This holiday season, she’s planning to give these children an unforgettable Christmas at the beach, filled with activities, animal interactions, and so much joy.

If you’d like to contribute, you can donate some Sats to help bring this experience to life—I’ve already done my part. Let’s help make this a magical holiday for these kids!

Am I the only Latina who finds it hard to understand English when it’s spoken with an Indian or Asian accent? It’s literally an extreme challenge for me.

I just exchanged 150 USD and they gave me all this money 💰 WHAT THE HELL?!

But thank God #Inflation isn’t real, right? Lmao

#BuenosAires 🇦🇷

It’s interesting that throughout my journey on Nostr, I’ve learned more about human behavior than about technology itself.

We already understand how follows and likes work—they tap into the human psyche, fueling validation and attention-seeking. But I find that Zaps are a particularly useful tool, not just because they can be profitable, and kinda a circular economy but because they also give you a sense of how much people genuinely appreciate you.

The “zap” phenomenon is revealing. It shows who truly connects with and supports you, and the amount of Sats sent reflects how much they resonate with either you or what you’re posting.

If someone follows you but never zaps, they’re likely just passive viewers—maybe even low-key haters, sticking around out of morbid curiosity.
