How many Mexican pesos does a 4M sat #lightning channel costs at various LSPs?

https://channelprices.com will demonstrate their new tool at tomorrow's ALBY COMMUNITY CALL (3pm UTC)

Wallet choice is important. After many years of #Lightning development, there is so many ways users can participate in it... and many of us use multiple at once - not without a reason 😉

We took a look at our friends at Blink, Coinos, Strike, Lifpay, WoS and ZBD and made a small comparison!

It's already (much) over 6 months since #AlbyHub is with us!

in that relatively short time, Alby Hub is buzzing with activity between users! 🚀

Users of this self-custodial wallet have opened over 4,000 channels with minimum 53 BTC liquidity deployed (and perhaps much more) 🤩

This is a brave venture to operate #lightning nodes for the ecosystem. Very often below the cost, with hopes for better future.

Thank you #Flashsats,

, #LQWD, 💝 - see you on thousands of channels!

Lightning Service Provider (LSP) /ˈlaɪt.nɪŋ ˈsɜːrvɪs prəˈvaɪ.dər/, noun

"An entity that offers essential services for the Bitcoin Lightning Network, including liquidity provision and infrastructure support."

And today we are releasing the v1.8.0 of ALBY HUB - the self-custodial Bitcoin #Lightning node, ready for 2025 💪🔥

We're building on shoulders of giants, in forever gratitude to OSS contributors, researchers and users providing valuable feedback. Did you notice, that #AlbyHub releases are named after merited cypherpunks?

This time, kudos go to Bram Cohen... anyone recalls!?

Bram is an American developer, best known as the creator of the P2P #BitTorrent protocol (and a client), which he developed in 2001. Maybe one day he'll join us on Nostr? 💙 Kudos!

Are there any new appz you can recommend to try recently?
