🚀 First end-to-end pakstr release is live on Zap Store!

Today we shipped our first end-to-end release using PAKstr — the nostr box tools app — built, signed, and published entirely through PAKstr's pipeline. One nsec, one command, no Android SDK, no keystores.

PAKstr turns any web app into a signed, installable Android APK and publishes it to Zap Store in a single CI step. You bring one secret (a Nostr nsec), run pakstr run, and it:

• Builds the APK from your web assets (dist/)
• Derives the signing key deterministically from your nsec + app id — so updates work across releases
• Signs and publishes to Zap Store automatically

If you have a Nostr web app, you can PAKstrfy it today:

- would it be possible to add a developer setting so that airplane mode can be permanently enabled?

Currently it is too easy to accidentally disable it (eg when adding a new wifi network)

It would also be nice if airplane mode was the default when graphene OS first boots..

Instead of sending sats, we should burn them.

A verifiable proof-of-burn tied to a Nostr event is a WAAAY stronger signal than a regular zap. No one receives the sats, so there's nothing to dox and no way to game the system. It's just pure, on-chain destruction — publicly linked to whatever you're trying to highlight.

The network still sees the intent and the cost, but without creating new balances or attack surface. And honestly, "zap" already sounds like something getting incinerated.
