Keep talking about #Palestine

My friend

needs our support so he can obtain the diploma he’s worked so hard for, and so that he can try to start his own business to better provide for his family.

Any amount or interaction helps Mohamed achieve his goals.

Aya works so hard on her university studies, as well as working with me to verify families through video calls for #GazaVerified.

We all know what it’s like to feel like we absolutely need our phones, but for Aya it’s truly a necessity. It’s a lifeline to education and survival, for both her own family and the families she’s been verifying with me.

Any amount or type of support is greatly appreciated. 💗

Many of you may remember my friend

, whose fiancée recently endured the loss of her father right before their wedding.

I’m happy to share that after two months of grief and postponements, they were officially married this past Sunday ♥️

Please join me in congratulating and celebrating them. And please support their future in any way you can.

Mohamed is so close to being able to afford the materials he needs to create a space for himself to sleep at night after working long hours to provide for his family.

Who can help us reach our goal of raising just $50 more? ♥️

RE: https://mastodon.social/@Hanan1991/116686196400437900

I have just received this same news from

. This is catastrophic for the people of #Gaza. Our brothers & sisters urgently need our support right now.

Please support a family in Gaza. Either by donating or sharing so others can contribute. Every donation is significant & lifesaving, no matter how small. And the best way to support is to set up consistent monthly donations if possible.

Support Hanan, Mohamed, any of our #GazaVerified families, or any family you verify yourself.

Hoping some friends can help:

My good friend

in #Gaza is fortunate to have a job, but it barely pays anything. His work is 8km from his family’s tent, and he works 14 hour days. Since his family’s tent is so small, there is no place for him to sleep at night, so he stays up all night at his place of work until he can go back to the tent to get 4-5 hours of sleep, if he’s lucky. He’s trying to build a space for himself.

Every dollar counts - thank you!

Two weeks before her wedding, Leena tragically lost her father in an Israeli airstrike.

https://vimeo.com/1187699665?share=copy&fl=sv&fe=ci

This is the reality for Palestinians living in Gaza.

We can’t take away the pain, but we can ease some of the burden. Supporting Leena and her family financially through her fiancé,

’s, campaign can ease a small part of their struggle right now.

Thank you for your compassion and continued support.

I just received news that Muhannad’s fiancée’s father and two brothers were hit in a missile strike today while working at their market stall.

There was never a “ceasefire” or a “peace plan”. The psychotic piece of Shitreal continues to destroy lives every day.

Please help him care for his bride and her family amidst this tragic loss.

Mai, thank you for sharing this necessary, firsthand information. For those of us outside of #Gaza, it can be difficult to keep up with the progressively covert ways #Palestinians in Gaza are subject to the various forms of #genocide, such as this. Your concise explanation is invaluable.

Support Mai & her efforts to provide for the children of her camp: https://chuffed.org/project/help-mai-and-the-gaza-camp-kids

I hate to support YouTube, but it’s the only way I could share this video at the moment since it’s too large to upload here (I talk a lot).

I made and posted this video across other platforms back in January, but I now realize it could be beneficial here.

Since then, we’ve also welcomed

to the team, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her,

and

for their part in helping so many others.

Eid Mubarak to all of our loved ones in Palestine, and to everyone who celebrates. 💗

May you and your families know ease and safety, now and always.

May the oppressed worldwide know freedom and joy.

Attention: seeking a campaign organizer for

, who was just verified this morning by myself and Aseel.

I know it’s been difficult to find people who are able to organize campaigns as the demand increases, but if there is anyone who is able and willing, or knows of someone who can create a fundraising campaign for Mohamad, please reach out to me or Mohamad directly.

Thank you! 💕

For all of our Gaza Verified families, we kindly ask that you please carefully read and follow the rules for Gaza Verified. We’ve been getting a lot of messages that people’s accounts have been suspended, and that’s likely because accounts are being reported for spam-like behavior. We want to support you as best we can, but in order to do that we need you to keep the integrity of our efforts by following the stated rules.

You can find everything you need to know here: https://gaza-verified.org/guide-arabic/

Coasters, coasters, get ya coasters here! 🧶🍉

I think we’ve all noticed that support for our loved ones in #Palestine has taken a hit, whether that’s due to burnout, financial stress, or believing the false claims of “peace” and “reconstruction”, it’s hard to say.

So, I’m here to incentivize people to continue supporting. I mean, who doesn’t want a set of handmade coasters, amiright?

Message me if you’re interested! 🫶

is not only an invaluable member of the #GazaVerified team, but a very dear friend.

By pledging a monthly donation to help her family afford stable housing, we’re able to provide her family with predictability and peace of mind in a time of great uncertainty. Even small pledges help distribute the commitment evenly — every little bit helps.

We appreciate everyone’s continued love and support for our friends in #Gaza, #Palestine.

In urgent need of a trustworthy individual to create a GoFundMe campaign:

My friend

has notified me that his campaign organizer has been unresponsive for weeks now. He originally had a Chuffed campaign, but he’s finding that a majority of donors are asking for a GFM instead. He is #GazaVerified. If anyone is able to create a campaign for Maher, please contact Maher or me directly.

Thank you so much!

Our sweet @roba_1999 works so hard, endlessly, to make her dream a reality. A dream rooted in helping and healing people.

Please support in any way you’re able, by sharing or contributing what you can, even if it’s just a few dollars. Many small contributions add up quickly, and I know we can support Ruba as she continues on her pharmaceutical journey.♥️

I was catching up with my friend,

, this morning when he informed me that his son’s glasses have broken. His son, Mohamed, urgently needs treatment for his eyes. Until they can raise the funds for his treatment, his glasses are imperative to his health. Please share and contribute what you can, so little Mohamed can restore his vision and receive the treatment he needs.

Ah, yes. The return of chaotic crafts.

The first crochet project I’ve finished in quite a while for a friend. Since I’ve got all the supplies out again, I’m thinking of some projects I can dive into to support our friends in Gaza. Stay tuned.

My dear friend,

, wrote me this morning after I hadn’t heard from him in a couple days.

“Yesterday the weather was very bad, I couldn't charge my phone. It was a tough day. The pergola I built when you sent me money, collapsed. Water pooled on it, it collapsed, and the wood broke. I felt so hopeless seeing what I worked so hard for destroyed in seconds. I'm so sad.”

RE: https://mastodon.ar.al/@gazaverified/115689603009215724

During our call,

told us about a problem she’s encountered with her campaign, and we’re hoping a trustworthy person can help.

The organizer of her campaign transferred her funds once, five months ago, and hasn’t been heard from since. This has resulted in Ghada not being able to share her campaign for fear of the funds being stolen or not transferred for other reasons.

Is there anyone who would be able to create & manage another campaign for her? Thank you!

This week is going to be very difficult for families in #Gaza. With days of heavy rain ahead, now is the time that we come together to make sure they have what they need.

We can’t completely alleviate the suffering, but we can do our part to lessen it. Every dollar, every share counts and can help a family survive the harsh winter.

With the rain last night, there’s another surge in aid requests from our friends in Gaza. I know it can feel overwhelming, but it’s nothing compared to what they’re being forced to endure.

The best way to combat the feeling of helplessness is action.

If you’re looking for some direction, you can choose a family to sponsor financially or by meeting them & regularly sharing their posts. Or split a set amount between multiple families. The options to help are limitless.

https://gaza-verified.org/donate/

I couldn’t possibly keep these ridiculous snores all to myself.

Join me in supporting

’s future in graphic design. Give him a follow, interact with his posts, and feel free to send him a message - he would love to hear from you. And if you’re able, contribute to his campaign so he can buy a laptop to continue his passion and provide for his family with dignity. There is no amount, or type, of support too small.
