If you could have a conversation with the Bitcoin Blockchain what would you ask?

GM - Again so many things happening, it is difficult to focus.

Looking forward to find some time to listen to it, those projects are amazing.

If we were going to make seed generation with coin/dice/cards or other the default. I have two doubts:

1. It is annoying thing to do, so, what would be the best UX?
2. It is moving more responsability to the user, so, how could the user still fuck things up?

I’ve been thinking about how much @

could bring to empowering Bitcoin users, and there were a few concepts I wanted to test.

First: https://contextbtc.org/wallet — a Bitcoin wallet that runs with a bitcoind RPC connection over MCP via Nostr and ContextVM. Right now it is only a Regtest proof of concept, and it’s still quite slow, but there’s a lot that can be improved.

The core idea is simple: the user runs bitcoind on a computer at home and doesn’t need to expose anything to the outside world. Then they run ContextBTC alongside it, and—using a Nostr key—they can operate their Bitcoin wallet on their phone using that bitcoind as backend, preserving privacy, self-sovereignty, and control.

I really need FIPS over LoRa.

What is the best nostr client that has a local-first approach? If I want to have a local relay that will store all my events and use remote relays just for relaying. Something I can backup.

Maybe storing also events that I like or zap...

There is this old saying that a good programmer has to be lazy in order to be good at writting good code that is easy to maintain and does not require a lot of future effort and automates things that are time consumming for the future you.

Well, AI is not that, it is not lazy at all, and the incentives are the opposite, it want you to use more tokens.

It is cool how Nix protects you when for example running a flake in a git repository, if your flake.nix is not stagged it just does not use it. Stage it and use it.

It is difficult to find out why it happens first time, but when you know it, well then you know it. :)

Despues de la #WOB25 y de conversaciones con

me he dado cuenta de que, aunque todavía seamos 4 gatos aquí, esto es imparable.

Esta mañana pensaba: estaría bien usar Nostr un poco más, pero no quiero tenerlo en mi móvil; prefiero solo usarlo desde el ordenador.

Si hubiese un cliente que fuese solo para publicar algo que quiero compartir en el momento y así no distraerme con el móvil cuando estoy haciendo algo que probablemente es más importante.

Me he dado cuenta de que, si no existe, lo podría crear yo. Eso es muy poderoso y solo se puede hacer con tecnologías abiertas como Nostr.

Aunque estoy seguro de que ya existe, pues es una locura la cantidad de desarrollo que hay en este ecositema.
