Bitcredit Protocol is Free Trade on #Bitcoin rails.
The protocol does not determine which goods or countries a producer or trader may trade with.
Each Wildcat operator decides independently whether it can mint a particular bill of exchange under the laws applicable to that mint.
Week 36 Update from Bitcredit Protocol:
Electronic Bills of Exchange on #Bitcoin rails greatly reduce supply chain risk for global trade, when compared to slow and expensive fiat bank methods.

THE SEEN AND THE UNSEEN
The Seen Electronic bills bring some cost savings by reducing the reliance on paper, printing, archiving, and courier costs.
The Unseen The much bigger cost saving comes from e-bills on #Bitcoin rails, removing the bureaucratic financial intermediaries and the many expensive professional services, lawyers and accountants, and financial advisors they need.
Supply chain companies have almost forgotten a great power they once possessed.
Without this old knowledge, Companies now bow to banks for credit and liquidity. Supply chains have become dependent on fiat money and pay dearly for the privilege. And too often, bank credit is denied. Producers stagnate, wither, or even fail.
But merchants once held the power over their own destiny. Because supply chains can run on self-liquidating credit that requires no bank.
Bitcoin, through Bitcredit Protocol, can restore your company's power.
Sellers can again extend terms directly to creditworthy buyers without sacrificing capital or liquidity. No bank can act as gatekeeper, deciding which trades may happen or not.
Merchants can become sovereign again. With #Bitcoin. Learn more: www.bit.cr
Bitcoiners!

Fiat no longer has a monopoly on production credit.
Now the ball is in everyone's court. It's not enough to talk to individuals. We must now orange-pill businesses.
At
presented the plan how #Bitcoin can monetise. It need two to tango: fixed supply money and elastic supply of commercial credit.
If you are a bitcoiner and work in the supply chains for real goods, Bitcoin needs you now.
It is buying and selling on trade terms that will stabilise #Bitcoin.
Too few know this.
With Bitcredit, electronic bills of exchange (e-bills) are permission less and censorship-resistant. They can be accessed and processed from anywhere, just like #Bitcoin.
Digitalisation helps smooth international trade and online collaboration among parties in different jurisdictions.
The Fiat System as dominated by nationalised, politicised central banks is destroying itself.
Exports decline significantly (-35%) when local banks lose correspondent network access due to ever more politicised regulations for victimless 'crime'. This is followed by workforce layoffs and unemployment. The poorest countries are most affected.
#Bitcoin fixes this and #Bitcredit is how.
Let's get it launched!
With the Bitcredit Protocol close to launch, #Bitcoin is suddenly of interest for global corporations.
Our Founder, Hubertus Hofkirchner, "the Austrian", has been invited to give a keynote at the @PWC Treasury Conference Zurich.
He will talk about what almost nobody in Corporate Finance dares to ask: Why is Treasury becoming ever more complex? Whom is this good for?
Why are banks, supply chains, and corporate treasurers facing ever more FX chaos, compliance burden, systemic fragility, risk-off, and even debanking?
Our thesis: Over the last 100 years, money has become political, nationalised, monopolised, permissioned, fragile, surveilled, all in the name of propping up a failing, politically captured monetary system.
But new technology gives us a glimpse of a way out of this mess.
Mistaken objections vs. a credit layer on #Bitcoin.
A thread 🧵.
The Deflation Argument
The Centralisation Argument
The Equity vs. Debt Argument
The Store of Value Argument
The Deflation Argument
Critics of an elastic supply often conflate falling prices driven by technological progress with destructive monetary deflation.
While falling prices due to productivity are indeed a positive sign, true monetary deflation, a scarcity of media of exchange, is catastrophic.
When businesses face a liquidity crisis, trade and industry grind to a halt, and goods rot on the fields and on inventory because there is no media to facilitate their exchange.
Deflation is not an aggregate problem, it is the individual business problem of not finding liquidity when and where it is needed.
The concern that credit money introduces centralisation is mitigated by fundamental design. The Bitcredit Protocol is entirely open-source, permissionless, and peer-to-peer.
Anyone can download the software to issue electronic bills of exchange (e-bills) or spin up a "Wildcat" mint to compete in a free market for liquidity.
Because the system relies on non-custodial e-cash and mathematically verifiable proof of real value, it prevents the state from monopolising or co-opting the credit system.
Therefore, it presents no more centralisation risk than Bitcoin’s own network of nodes, miners, and institutional holders.
The idea that the economy can run smoothly on equity alone ignores the fundamental mechanics of global trade.
There is always a time gap between planting crops or manufacturing goods and selling them to the final consumer.
Bills of exchange represent debt tied to actual "proof of work" in the real economy, goods already produced that serve as backing for self-liquidating credit.
Bills are therefore indispensable for providing the working capital that businesses need to survive and scale.
If Bitcoin remains merely a store of value or a "pristine collateral" for fiat loans, it fails to achieve its true potential.
Without a credit money layer, businesses cannot run their daily operations on Bitcoin, and the global economy remains trapped in the fiat system.
This forces society to continue suffering from fiat's inherent flaws: inflation, boom-and-bust cycles, misallocation of capital, and the looming dystopian threat of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).
Bitcoin must evolve into a functional currency to sever the world's reliance on fiat on-ramps and off-ramps.
The Case for A Bitcoin Currency Layer
A fixed base money (like physical gold or base-layer Bitcoin) is essential for monetary stability, but it must be paired with an elastic currency supply to grease the wheels of commerce.
Without an instrument like Bitcredit to bridge the gap between Bitcoin's rigid base layer and the real world's fluctuating demand for liquidity, Bitcoin adoption by businesses is impossible.
Therefore, decentralised, supply chain-backed credit money is not a compromise of Bitcoin's principles, but an economic necessity for it to succeed globally as a medium of exchange.

Global trade all over Africa has a big challenge in availability of trade finance for businesses under $5M.
Bureaucracy of financial intermediaries, refi cost for central bank monopoly money and legal fees is just too much for African SMEs.
Trade Finance on #Bitcoin fixes this!
Political self-sovereignty is one of the key design considerations for Bitcredit Protocol, #Bitcoin's upcoming currency layer.
Bitcoin will be a true stablecoin, if we manage to keep governments and politicians strictly out of it.
Why?
A stable currency needs a pristine base money which governments cannot capture and spoil. That's Bitcoin.
It also needs an institutional layer issuing redeemable currency, equally incorruptible by politicians.
The best policies and practices will arise in free competition amongst issuers.
We must end governments messing with money production.
Bitcredit Protocol is unique in bridging Bitcoin's unyielding hardness (fixed 21M supply) with real-world elastic credit money, without ever touching fiat ramps, banks, or custodians.
It is built as a valid stand-alone alternative to the fiat money system, actually aspires to replace it, end it.
Businesses issue electronic bills of exchange backed by actual good produced evidenced by verified invoices for delivered value, wildcat mints validate & split them into private, instant, fungible bitcredit currencyfor P2P payments.
Everything self-liquidates at maturity, redeems 1:1 in sats on Bitcoin mainchain.
No new base money is created, no inflation is possible. Only temporary, production-tied expansion that contracts naturally with the flow of trade.
This revives time-proven private bills of exchange on Bitcoin’s unstoppable monetary rails, making Bitcoin usable as everyday money for trade, import/export, and working capital, initially in high-inflation, underbanked or bankless zones.
Unlike collateralised loans (fiat traps) or stablecoins (fiat shadows), Bitcredit Protocol enables competitive Wildcat mints to create genuine Bitcoin-denominated M1 currency.
It lives inside the robust Bitcoin economy: market-set competitive minting fees, non-custodial. Austrian-inspired free-banking discipline, and Nostr-powered censorship resistance.
Bitcoin volatility dampens as real production scales a breathing credit superstructure, purchasing power stabilizes then gently rises with productivity growth.
It is not another DeFi wrapper, no shitcoin but the missing layer for Bitcoin to function as sound, sovereign money for the real economy.
It proudly follows the Bitcoin Ethos:
Free markets, free software, permissionless, private, and open source.

Millions of small farmers in developing countries are not poor because they lack skill or demand.
They are poor because the fiat system blocks them from turning their produce into liquidity, locking up their capital.
#Bitcoin can fix this with Bitcredit Protocol.
We cannot sustainably earn #Bitcoin and spend #Bitcoin while the real economy stays on foul fiat currency.
But how?
Orange pilling merchants to accept Bitcoin is one.
Hard.
But the regional Bitcoin Economies pushed by fired-up enthusiasts show that it can be done. Follow
to see the progress.
Now we also must orange pill 💊 the global supply chains. Make Bitcoin economies truly circular, bring them into international trade.
That's even harder.
But at Bitcredit Protocol we believe it can be done.
Why?
Because it must be done.
If you like near impossible tasks, join us. We will celebrate every single win.
Bitcredit gave a well-received talk yesterday for the "Future Forward" innovation festival at #WeXelerate in Vienna.
Topic: The unpredictable and opaque traditional banking system and the promise of #Bitcoin.
People think money in a bank account is “theirs”. But it is not. A bank can freeze "your" money at any time, delay transfers, debank you, or block "your" funds, just like that, without giving any reason, let alone a valid one.

Has your business been DEBANKED by increasingly crazy ReGuLaTiOnS?
Out of control state surveillance by unfettered politicians enforced via banks makes business more bureaucratic by the day, hurts you and your customers.
Good news: With #Bitcoin and Bitcredit Protocol, businesses need no bank anymore!
Working capital and liquidity is produced directly, B2B.
Study Bitcredit Protocol.
Trade terms (buyers pay sellers with 30/60/90 day bills) keeps the supply chains flowing.
Bills of Exchange used to power production and trade by converting trade terms into high-quality payment instruments.
Then fiat money switched the world to government bonds for statist consumption, corruption, and waste.
With #Bitcoin, the good times can return. Bitcredit Protocol aims to free trade and industry from the increasing red tape, access barriers erected by governments and their captured banks.
