I’m falling in love with life again. Simple routine:
Block 1: Wake up early. Read. Journal. Go for a walk. Talk to strangers.
Block 2: Breakfast. Second walk. Chess. Admin. Second meal. Third walk.
Block 3: Write. Gym or something social. Third meal. Early night.

How are there still willing sellers? How many subscribers can Peter Schiffer have?
Does each bear market feel rougher than the last or just recency bias?
Humanity may be fragile in ways we cannot dream, so we cast our net wide and then wider…
Bitcoin is permissive of humanity’s journey ahead.

With increased intelligence and wisdom you don’t just see more. You see through things.
I believe many bitcoiners belong to that category.
Every person who studies bitcoin, buys bitcoin, takes custody of their own keys, or runs a node is a massive win.
For themselves.
For their family.
For the network.
For civilization.
One more sovereign human at a time.
Abundance Through Scarcity is about the importance of bitcoin for the future of human civilization.

People spend far more with credit cards than with cash because the pain of spending becomes abstract.
Fiat does the same to time.
We don’t know how many days we have left, so we spend them carelessly in low-agency living.
Treat your hours like cash leaving cold storage.
"Anything that can be prevented, taken away, or coerced is not a person's own—but those things that can't be blocked are their own."
Epictetus on bitcoin.

Why did we stop building cathedrals and what does that mean for our future?

Fantastic news!
I’ve just released my book Abundance Through Scarcity in a brand new version! It’s a complete makeover with many new and super exciting ideas.

Bitcoin film fest is going to be amazing as always. @bitcoinfilmfest
An entire generation is about to leave this planet. They have a lot of money that’s going to trickle down.
And another generation is about to enter adulthood. A lot of them will want and need bitcoin.
This demographic shift is not priced in.
Brain scans across LSD, psilocybin, DMT, and mescaline show the same neural fingerprint: increased communication between normally separate brain networks.
The psychedelic state isn’t a “drug effect.”
It’s a distinct mode of consciousness.
If a child offers you imaginary tea, you drink it.
You’re 90, on your deathbed.
Upon your last breath, you get a choice: die or relive your life, but EXACTLY as it was.
Would you do it?
If the answer is not resounding yes, you have the magnificent opportunity to fix your life right now.

The four great protocols of humanity: language, math, the internet, and bitcoin.
Be on them, or be like those who aren’t: animals and North Korea.
If you want to understand any society, don’t listen to what it says. Look at what it creates.

The bitcoin network does not care who you are, where you live, or what government you obey (if you obey one).
It only cares about your signature being correct.
Every block is a tiny fossil of burned electricity.
It’s proof that energy once existed, was spent, and is now immortalized in the ledger.
Bitcoin is young by the standards of what it is becoming
Bitcoin symposium at Medelhavsmuseet 26 April. I’m speaking. A few tickets left. Going to be a lot of fun!
I turn 40 today. @Breedlove22 and @BTCsessions, can I be in your club?

The timechain might be one of the more important resources for future digital archeologists studying our times.
I don’t want to orbit safety until it’s too late. I’m choosing uncertainty over stability.
Wish me luck!
Quit my job today.
A decade in medicine has been more rewarding than I can put into words.
I’m moving on to other things.
Life really does get better the more you declutter it.
Thoughts, habits, emotions. Work, routine, apps. Drugs, people, possessions.
Get rid of everything that isn’t adding value to your life.

Gold is scarce because of geology.
Bitcoin is scarce because of math.
Math > geology.
Bitcoin lets humans coordinate across the entire planet without trusting a single human.
That’s new in the history of our species.
The key to immortality for any technology is good design.
Any particular technology comes to mind?
The fiat system works right up until it doesn’t.
When it doesn’t, you fix it. Then you fix the fix. Then you fix THAT fix.
Eventually you run out of duct tape.
That’s where we are now. We’ve run out of duct tape.
They can print as much fiat currency as they want.
Bitcoin is going to continue to take money from the system.
The orange exit is the sexiest move you’ll ever make.
Yesterday I did my taxes for 2025.
This is remarkable.
First, I paid 42% income tax.
On top of that I pay 25% VAT on everything I buy.
On top of THAT I pay payroll taxes, energy taxes, property taxes, capital taxes, environmental product taxes, public service fees, and burial fees.
Oh, and of course the most insidious taxes of all: price inflation, shrinkflation, reduction in the quality of food, architecture, science, education, health, and relationships.
Including all layers, the total tax wedge on labor and consumption in Sweden lands around 90% of the economic value produced.
Craig Wright and Jeffrey Epstein have one thing in common:
They’re not satoshi.
Art is the voice of the heart and soul.
AI slop and bots are ruining the internet.
Bitcoin is the truth we need in this watered down fiat world.
The bitcoin network is made of people. The nodes are just hardware we use to connect to one another.
Bull markets ask how bitcoin wins.
Bear markets ask how bitcoin fails.
This is when we learn the important stuff.
What about bitcoin are you most excited for in 2026?
I’ll go first.
Bitcoin conferences. If you haven’t been to one yet, make this the year.
I’m at a place in life where I just want peace and quiet and enjoy life for what it is.
It’s nice here.
So much depression and anxiety is caused by working past one’s mental bandwidth.
Slow down. Do less. You’ll be happier.
We only have so much mental bandwidth.
Spend it wisely.
Silence is an essential nutrient.
People 45 and up, what’s the best way to do your forties? Any pitfalls?
Someone asks you what it would hurt if they knew how many coins you hold.
What do you answer?
How come so few Z and alphas are into bitcoin?
Why is it mostly a millennial and X thing?
Is bitcoin more about escaping oppression or gaining freedom?
Where do you even go on the internet to experience something real anymore?
The truest form of intelligence is designing the life you want to live.
Remember your stacking goals.
You work on them now.
We buy now.
I’d appreciate it a lot if all of you could tell me to not buy anymore sats. I’m not disciplined enough.
I need fiat for food and rent.
I’ve had a paid X subscription for about six months now and notice zero benefits.
How about you guys?
Rent in my apartment building has increased by 34% in 7 years.
How is there still not a revolution in the streets?
My goal for the years ahead is to remove as much noise as humanly possible.
That includes:
Bitcoin is the great silencer.
Bitcoin is one of the greatest societal upgrades in history.
Your job is to guard a few sats for future generations. Do it well. It might be the most important thing you do.
You can’t plant a seed in toxic soil.
If you want to build something great, something that actually flourishes, then build it within the bitcoin system.
The soil of the fiat system returns only wasted effort and a mess to clean up.
I now know the exact moment bitcoin clicked for me at the deepest level I’ve reached so far.
It was when I saw that bitcoin is protection against civilizational collapse.
Once seen, it cannot be unseen.
When I saw this, I immediately began writing Abundance Through Scarcity.
Third edition soon.
Inflation is a bit like peeing your pants.
At first it’s warm and cozy. Then you start wondering what the hell is going on.
Panic sets in. You try to bend physics. Reverse entropy.
But you can’t bargain with reality.
So what do you do when the cold, wet, bad-smelling inflation sticks to your skin?
You take off your pants and suffer the consequences.
Bitcoin is the greatest wealth transfer in history. From manipulated ledgers to a finate asset.
What happened to the bitcoin twitter?
You can’t run a planetary civilization on weaponized, inflationary surveillance tokens.
It’s like trying to stream video over fax machines.
When our minds and the economy have been hyperbitcoinized, we will quickly forget how stressed, anxious and afraid we were in the fiat era.
Friendly reminder.
Bitcoin doesn't need legacy power structures.
Every government on the planet is doing insane deficit spending and expanding the currency supply.
History shows this won’t end well.
Get bitcoin. Tell your friends and family to get bitcoin. Now.
$1M by block 1M
What happens to politics when money no longer needs politicians to survive?
My favorite low-effort dopaminergic hobby is to dunk in fiat. Zero effort. High reward. Like eating chocolate cake.
Hardcore self-custodying plebs are saving the world.
The Bitcoin Renaissance is already here. It’s just not evenly distributed.
Bitcoin will crash to $200,000. It will be catastrophic for some.
Do with that information as you wish.
What did we learn in 2025?
Did we learn that bitcoin is money or not?
If you want to learn the truth about money you have to learn it on your own.
That fact alone says everything.
😁🙏
