When it comes to Archetyoes an ld especially King/Shadow King. Comparisons can be tempting. Judging too. But in real life, it's much more complicated and can't be judged that easily. If you'd like to judge any other man on whether he has a strong or weak King (you may think of status of some sort) you may miss.

For example:

I would say, sure, most addicts have a strong Shadow King. But how do you know if the person who's addicted and still manages to go and work for his kids 5 or 6 days a week doesn't have a strong king?

Maybe that's the strong, real king in him telling him he has to do what he has to do and deciding this is the best he can do. He didn't run away from his kids, he's trying to hold his family together. His version of kingship - still as an addict, let's say -is to be a better man than his own father, who was completely on the shadow side.

You never know.

The best thing is to judge yourself in all honesty.

And even that is not easy.

Anyway...
