I’ve been to several bitcoin meetups, but never a nostr meetup. I think in the future Nostr meetups will spring up everywhere. The reason behind it will be that it connects community without the middle man, the state and fed government. The people need an online way to build community that isn’t being milked by rent seekers. Nostr Valley sounds like fun.

A few things stood out to me in this episode…. I’ll comment on one of them. The idea of going slow not fast is very true. A previous job I used to have required me working with transformers on the electrical grid. I’d tell my guys “fast is slow, slow is fast”. You get into a rush and you’re more likely to screw up. Just take your time and do it right the first time. This 100% applies to anything bitcoin related…. Especially setting up self custody
