Great write up by

on last weekend's gig in Belgrade. It felt like an event that really kicked things up a gear in the #V4V space. Such a talented line up and music so diverse. Where else would you get all those artists on the same stage? Shout out to the team

Boundaries were broken down and new friendships were made. It's clear that the future of music is bitcoin zaps directly to the artist. Boarderless, permissionless, instant! Imagine the way V4V wins is a million nyms illegally uploading all the world's catalogue to nostr. The original artists are forced to create their own nostr identity, re-upload their music themselves and ask for zaps to their lightning wallet from fans. Napstr is such a good/ obvious name. Things have come full circle. #music #nostr #v4v

Stoked to be heading to Belgrade this summer to play a #V4V show alongside some other great artists at revolution.rocks/ June 19th & 20th.

Gig on a boat? 😎 Who's gonna be there? 🙌

This was a blast last year. If you're London or Essex based, get yourself along to this and be a part of the new music movement! #v4v

Information wants to be free. This is why #v4v is the only way

Can't wait to visit Bitcoin Park. Feel very humbled to be asked to perform. Will be playing a few songs off the new album I'm cutting over the next couple of weeks. Let's go! 🤘

Had a blast talking with Cole about the V4V movement and how artists can take back control of their work with tools like #nostr and podcasting 2.0. Share with any artists you know who are curious about giving this new tech a try.

Early V4V release today of my new single 'Can't Promise You The World'. I wrote this back in February 2024 in my flat on a rainy day in northern west England, wistfully looking back at the good times travling and gigging on the road. This acoustic version will hopefully make the cut for my studio album which will be recorded later this year. In the meantime, enjoy! 🎧

EARLY V4V release! ⚡🎶🎧

‘Strangers To Lovers’ was written with Vinnie Paolizzi when I was in Nashville last August. We spent most of the writing session catching up on what had happened since we last saw each other in 2018. When we finally got round to writing, we came up with this tune in a few minutes, one of of the easiest co-writes I’ve had thus far. I wanted to do an acoustic version of the tune to showcase the lyric and story, so took it to the talented James Wyatt at Sloe Flower Studio and explained, I didn’t want anything fancy, I just wanted something real. We talked for a while about influences and soon discovered we were both big fans of Dave Cobb, Jason Isbell and that school of classic production / songwriting. I know this track will make it on the next album, which I will hopefully be recording later this year. But it’s been a while since I released anything and wanted to put this song out there the way I play it live. This will be in the set as well as other new songs on my tour with Carter Sampson which starts this Friday! Hope you enjoy the new tune and hopefully catch you at a show

LYRICS

I could’ve stayed in, gone left instead of right Or done a thousands things, instead of meeting you that night You could’ve called a friend, you could’ve called it quits You could’ve walked home before midnight hit But you didn't

It happened in a minute and you almost passed me by I was holding the door when you threw me a smile Life's twists and turns left us where we began We went from strangers to lovers, and back to strangers again

It can all change, so damn fast Our future plans, became the past What I miss the most, it don’t sound like much But it's calling your number and you picking up

It only took an hour of an ordinary night For you to steal you my heart, without even trying Life's twists and turns left us where we began We went from strangers to lovers and now we’re strangers again

(Instrumental)

It took about a year to know it wasn't right I didn't want to change, you didn't want to fight Life's twists and turns left us where we began We went from strangers to lovers and back to strangers again From strangers to lovers and now we're strangers again

Another great episode from

Share this with all your artist friends!

talks about the struggles of being an indie artist in the current system and how you can do things differently by cutting out the middle men of music distribution with having direct payments, which means you keep more of the value sent by your fans > https://fountain.fm/episode/X7zR4l7D9B18ugytD3Cv

Was a pleasure to chat with Ben to talk about the possibilities going forward for artists to release their music online, in a way that actually respects their time and talent. Value for value, it's the future and we're only just getting started. 🤙

Please share this episode with your artist friends who are getting jaded with the current state of the music industry

Ok, I have to give a shout out to

and the Alby Hub project. Works flawlessly to give me a self custodial set up for zaps both sending and receiving. Connecting the one wallet into nostr and all V4V apps feels super powerful. Didn't think something like this was possible. Huge congrats to the team, building the future of what's possible for lightning! ⚡ And thanks to Moritz for walking me through the set up 🤙
