How to verify if a profile belongs to a project founder? 🚀
Anyone can technically post an event with Angor tags, but what truly matters is the blockchain.
The project founder commits to a Nostr Event ID, and inscribes it in the initial transaction on the #Bitcoin blockchain via an OP_RETURN. This method allows anyone to extract the Npub from the event and verify the project’s key 🔑 and metadata 📄
Nostr acts as a network for sharing honest information 🛡️ enabling a decentralized and trustworthy way to validate such claims.
#Nostr is the honest database network ✨
