Watched HBO "Money Electric." As far as bitcoin documentaries go, here's my take 👇
The FUD that if Satoshi sold his bitcoin it would destroy bitcoin is so dumb.
Yes the price would crash HARD, but the protocol would march on and those coins would get redistributed in time.
How many people would buy Satoshis coins, and probably at a premium!
The rest of the doc was quite boring, revealing nothing new and actually missing a lot that other docs revealed.
Adam Back looked uncomfortable and Samson Mow seemed out of place. Why was he so prominent in a doc about Satoshi???
Then proposing Peter Todd is Satoshi... bruh...
Organizing the doc in religious terms was kinda cool (Genesis, etc I forget the other chapter titles, lol)

Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem because of a Roman Census. A census was for the purpose of counting people for taxation.
Now here's where it gets interesting.
Israel was living under Roman occupation because their forefathers forsook Him in favor of a human king.
When they chose a human king, God warned them that he (the king) would tax them and they would become his slaves (1 Samuel 8:17)
Consider this: Was it merely a coincidence that the very God the Israelites rejected in favor of a human king was now being born as a man in Bethlehem—because of a tax census?
Through a pagan king’s decree, God fulfilled the prophecy of Bethlehem, becoming flesh to be the King of kings. Even in the midst of worldly authority, God’s divine plan unfolded.🤯

As I was praying and asking the Lord to help me reach people with the gospel I began creating this info graphic.
I've been complicating discipleship for too long, and I'm sure you have to.
If you notice the great commission is a chiasm.
A. I have all authority B. Go therfore and make disciples, baptizing. B. Teach them to obey all I commanded A. I am with you always.
Our job is to fulfill parts B (Call sinners to pledge allegiance to Christ as King in baptism and teach them to obey Christ in all of life.)
The power and authority to fulfill these tasks is provided in parts A (His possessing of all authority, both spiritual and physical and His presence with us.)
So now the pathway for churches and Christians is clear.
- Call all people to pledge allegiance to Christ in baptism.
Then,
- Teach them to obey Him as King in all of life.
This will be the blueprint for how I lead the church from now on.

I generally think the sphere sovereignty framework is helpful. But where it falls short is with the state.
Sphere sovereignty says there's 3 (0r 4) spheres God instituted.
- Family
- Church
- State
- Self
My issue with this is that if you trace the origin of all 4 spheres, you see that all but "the state" are descriptively decreed by God for our good and the fulfillment of the dominion mandate.
The state is not...
The state is a judgment on man for repeatedly forsaking God and rejecting Him as King. It's origins are found in the demonic and Scripture speaks of the state in terms of being a "beast."
God also says He uses the state and it's evil rulers to serve Him and His purposes, but this is not an endorsement of the state as an institution being good and Godly.
My concern is that including the state in sphere sovereignty legitimizes it like it does the family, church, self.

There has to be a better answer than, "Just pay your taxes!"
This thought echoed through my mind as I read Jesus' words once again: "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's..."
I'm excited to introduce my upcoming book, Render to God: Christ's Dominion and Human Taxation. The motivation behind this work stems from my relentless refusal to accept conventional answers to difficult questions.
God commands us not to steal. Does that apply to governments as well? How is it righteous for them to take your income, then tax your property? Surely, God does not condone tyrants seizing property and imprisoning those who can't pay property taxes...
Yet, Jesus tells us to give to Caesar what is Caesar's. Paul instructs us to pay taxes to whom taxes are owed. Peter urges us to honor the Emperor as supreme!
I couldn’t live with this tension. There had to be answers. The problem wasn't in the text—it was in my understanding of it.
So, I embarked on a journey. I studied, prayed, studied, prayed, and trusted God to guide me toward clarity. At times, I was frustrated, but that frustration soon transformed into exhilaration as God illuminated His Word to me once again.
This book is the fruit of that journey. Now, I invite you to embark on that journey with me.

What is more powerful an economic vote or a political vote?
@BrianDeMint makes another great point, economic votes are much more powerful than political votes.
If you vote for the losing candidate, your vote means nothing the day after the election.
But when you vote with your money, by buying or not buying a certain thing, it has real world impact.
What can be more impactful than opting out and voting with your dollars for bitcoin?
Every dollar that gets traded for bitcoin, is 1 vote for bitcoin and -1 votes for fiat.

✝️This is why Scripture uses the imagery of debt forgiveness to illustrate the Gospel.
👉Under a hard money standard, the one who is indebted takes the loss of the debt, no one else has to pay the cost.
💲But under our twisted fiat monetary system, debt forgiveness is incredibly wicked because the loss is transferred to those who did not incur the debt in the form of inflation.
🧐The problem is not debt forgiveness, the problem is fiat monetary policy.

Strategic bitcoin reserve is a huge step that will make other nations follow suit. The United States publicly saying they will not sell their bitcoin while strategically acquiring more (1 million is the number) is so unbelievable words can't explain.

Justin Trudeau is like that guy that you never really liked, but all your friends liked him so you let him come hang out at your house.
He even brings his equally obnoxious wife with him who bursts into cringy song as everyone silently prays for the sweet release of death or for the singing to stop.
Eventually, everyone realizes he is annoying and begins to leave your house. EVEN HIS WIFE CAN'T STAND HIM AND LEAVES. Despite her being gone and not singing, his presence is enough to make you want to go sleep in the alley with the rats.

Christianity makes the world a better place.
Without Christianity, we likely wouldn't have,
- Orphanages
- Hospitals
- Universities
- Printing press
- Air Conditioners
Christianity has developed and blessed humanity with countless mercies.
Christians used to be innovators and at the forefront of transforming the world for the better.
Now we don't invest in the future cause we think the future CAN'T get better. What a sad and pathetic state of affairs.
Our Christian forefathers would be ashamed.
What happened?
This is partly why I advocate for bitcoin. Because it will make the world a better place.

It was the Christian worldview that put an end to slavery in the west.
Believers rightly divided the word and believed that the spiritual freedom that came through Christ would overflow to physical freedom to God's imagers in the world.
And it did.
Why can't we apply the same logic to end tax slavery?
The only tool potent enough to end the unjust fiat slave cartel is the gospel of Christ.
But like the abolitionists of old, we have soft churchmen who oppose us, twisting scripture to justify slavery.
I don't want to just wait for my turn to get to heaven. I want to leave this place a more FREE place for future generations.

GM, happy labor day! Just a reminder that the current fiat beast is optimized to enslave you.
Jesus came to set us free from sin and death. But freedom from sin is not just some theoretical invisible concept.
Gospel freedom is not permission to do whatever you want, but rather the power to do what is RIGHT.
As people work harder and harder only to see their money get them less and less they begin to feel trapped and hopeless. They are at the mercy of a master they don't even know is ruling over them.
When money is decreed, manipulated, created and centrally controlled all those who work for that money become slaves to their policies.
Enslaving people by stealing their labor and wealth IS SIN.
How does the Gospel inform how we view this? Christ died and rose again to redeem and restore all creation. This includes MONEY.
As gospel people, we need to be advancing God's kingdom standards in all areas of life, even money!
When Christ is hailed as King in the land, justice flows like a river and the peoples are glad! Why? Because when redeemed people redeem culture He brings blessing, prosperity, life and FREEDOM.
Bitcoin is the most just and fair monetary system we have. No other monetary system better embodies God's law concerning money.
