I installed Alby Hub twice on two different machines, one with LND and another with phoenixd. Both machines had issues. Murphy’s Law is definitely doing its thing. 😄

Decided to go with a #phoenixd backend this time around. Did a test transfer of 10K sats and confirmed the fee credit. The next larger transfer triggered the auto liquidity (i.e. 30K sats were deducted and a 2M sat channel opened).

Super simple. 🤌

I look forward to not having to manage channels and focus on building. Another perk of this backend is the BOLT12 support.

Finally got around to setting up my #AlbyHub. I was under the impression that I could open a channel by increasing my receive capacity and then just start receiving sats.

I opened a 100K channel to OLYMPUS for ~7K sats, but the channel still says offline (already has 21 confirmations as of this note).

Am I missing something

PSA: Don’t use LQwD as a channel peer in #AlbyHub or otherwise.

With a 50K sat minimum, this is another case of “if it’s too good to be true, it probably is.”
