This rss based music player/site

made for us is so cool! I just manually added this to it with the dashboard he made me. Here are some Doerfelized cover songs if anyone wants some tunes they will recognize. Only in the #doerfelverse

ive been thinking this for a long time and wanted to mention it. I always wished the art was bigger in guru. Just use some of that space between the name of ep, the time left in ep, and play/payse skip buttons, bring those closer together then art could be bigger. All good, just an item in my podcast guru wish list, nothing important lol

We(The Doerfels) are our own "platform" so to speak, and you can stream all of our music on demand as much as you want in our music app on our website, or any 2.0 app. Here is a throwback to 2017, our Think EP Live audio and video.

https://itdv.podtards.com/album/think-ep-live

Our music is value for value, meaning we offer our music at at no cost no restrictions no paywalls. We just ask if you get value from it, return value in any meaningful way to you, even just listening and letting is know counts! :)

Real people, real instruments, real music, real mistakes. No extra takes, no overdubs. Pretty much the farthest thing from AI music possible.

LNBeats re-imagined by Kurtisdrums

I've felt strongly about musicians/artists having a single feed to release the majority of new songs in. That way people who might discover you and enjoy your music can subscribe and get a notification whenever there's a new song.

However there is hardly anybody doing this. Off the top of my head I can only think of us, Jimmy V, and HeyCitizen. For anyone out there, do you subscribe to a musicians music feed and enjoy getting the occasional notification when there's a new song? Thoughts?

No doerfelverse tonight. Family is sick with a stomach thing. Was hoping to maybe still do a quick episode by myself but not gonna happen :(

ATTENTION CITIZENS!

is joining us on our podcast this Friday night! If you'd like to listen and troll along, join us live at www.doerfelverse.com

So about 25 min into our podcast earlier this evening our guest lost power from bad weather. He notified me they are well, and we shall reschedule.

In other news, doerfels livestream video is now setup and working perfectly via our website. We got it working in apps too but I'm thinking we are going to simply keep the apps audio only, and if you want video it will be on our website.

I just had a thought, can you imagine if we didn't have Fountain?! Thanks for inviting us on Fountain Radio yesterday and thanks for all you do for podcasting 2.0

Doerfels taking over fountain radio today at 4:00 p.m. central :)

What do The Doerfels and Jimmy V have in common? The love of hockey of course! Ohh and we both release our music value for value! Hang with us Into The DoerfelVerse tonight live at 7:30pm central #LIT listen at www.doerfelverse.com troll in IRC #doerfelverse

Observation: I can manuely add a feeds URL to guru, and send test boosts and everything works as it should, without it being known to the index. I do this sometimes to double check I didn't make any mistakes. But I do same thing with fountain and none of the boosting works, it's all in the feed though so why wouldnt boosting still work?

Ep 39 is here! Thanks

for joining us, it was a blast! We talk about Value for Value Music, play some tracks by

, Nate Johnivan, White Triangles, Robert Willey. And Ed gives us a sneak peek of his new upcoming CityBeach album!

Streaming sats for music tracks is not working for me on Fountain. It works for podcasts and even music podcasts. But not when I just go to a song or an album. Version 1.1.9 anyone else finding this issue?

I'm somewhat unsure what is being talked about. I like that my podcast app doesn't shove a bunch of algo made or worse yet, paid for ads of content in my face. I get what I want. What I subscribe to. No other junk. podroll is perfect, cuz it's not shoving stuff in my face like Spotify, YouTube etc. but i can easily see other content related to something I like cuz of podroll. A discovery page is cool, but as long as the app isn't centered around it.

Me when new stuff appears in SF I be like...lol

What is happening with Alby exactly? I'm a little unsure, i just know it's changing. Will the wallets already in use in all the tracks that we have splits set up for continue to work or will that all go away and stop working at some point? i want to know if i have to go back and take out all the alby addresses which I'd love to not have to do

Thanks

for the help so far, now we wait! Once this is done what's the next couple steps? I need to get lightning somehow? Or I need a channel or something?

Calling all Node nerds lol. I have a Lenovo x230 laptop. Could I, or is it worth, running lighting node with helipad on this? I want a node and my budget is this or an 2009 iMac..lol
