Years into fiber art and I’m still grateful every time I work with #wool
The #texture The #warmth and The #honesty 🧶
Wool remembers.
It carries the #animal the #land the #hand and the #hours
You don’t dominate it — you collaborate with it. And ima bout to do an entire series of #weird #artstr 😂🤙
They live on a chair that remembers.
Not weight—waiting.
When the room goes quiet, they don’t move, but attention bends toward them anyway. #Bears who survived tight #hugs #Creatures with #wings for #courage #Animals who learned #patience instead and sometimes because of #adventure
They don’t remember names—only feelings:
#warmth #tears being #chosen
That part matters most.
Because being chosen is different than being used.
They made a pact: if the human ever comes back tired or unsure, they’ll stay exactly as they are—soft, colorful, unapologetic.
Not clutter. Not relics. An #archive of #tenderness that #refused to #harden.
But diamond 💎 eyes 👀 too
