Today I make #art ( insert Tyler Durden saying : “ we render #soap 🧼

🔻🔻🔻 painting started signed by a R. #Swanson so as a note to self I must sign it with Duchess 👸🏽 Silver cause obviously 🙄 😂🌹

So despite the “ rules “ I wrote out years ago when teaching people new to my way of #slowstitching ( for small classes ) with local #stitch #friends

Ima go all in and try new techniques cause that’s where me finds my chill

Anyway if anyone wants my advice it’s below 🔻🔻🔻

#Layers for #embroidery art

1. Fabric with image starter

Examples: #flowers #swirls #circles or #vase (plan area for eyes to rest)

2. #Paint or #outline if desired

3. Thick wools first then lighter weight threads 🧵 For highlights, stamens etc.

Tips: use the natural waves of recycled wools to your advantage to make fluffs.

Go wild with colors

Extrapolating the flowers into almost cosmic light beams

Consider using #Metallics #sparingly it’s #art not #craft by #numbers
